Question 1

How long is a sex addiction intensive?

Accepted Answer

My Reconnection Intensive® runs five full days. Every man who completes it then enters a guided 90-Day Integration phase at no additional cost, so the full program is five days of intensive work followed by three months of structured support.

Question 2

Will I have to talk about the details of what I did?

Accepted Answer

You will talk about your history honestly, but there is no graphic recounting for its own sake. The work is about why the behavior started and what it was doing for you, not about cataloging it. Nothing you say leaves the room.

Question 3

Can my wife come to the intensive with me?

Accepted Answer

The 5-Day Intensive is a men's program. Your partner is not left out, though. While you are in the Intensive, she receives free partner support, and she can read about it herself on the partner support page.

Question 4

Is a sex addiction intensive better than weekly therapy?

Accepted Answer

It is different, not automatically better. An intensive removes the seven-day gap that stalls weekly therapy, so deep work starts faster. Many men do both. The intensive opens the work, and ongoing support keeps it going.

Question 5

What if I have already been through treatment and relapsed?

Accepted Answer

Many men who come to me have. Relapse after treatment usually means the behavior was addressed but the cause underneath it was not. That is exactly what this week is built to reach.

Question 6

Do I have to travel to Colorado?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Intensive is held in Colorado in a private, small-group setting that I lead personally. Men travel in for the week. The application page has the practical details on dates and logistics.
